Ezor – Storm (free download)

Ezor – Storm by Lifestyle Music
Stumbled upon this freebie this morning from the Lifestyle Music label. Techy sounds, check it yourself.

Before I joined BC several years ago I was probably only familiar with the more well known labels/artists. It had never occurred to me to look a bit deeper. So many. And not just quantity, quality too. At first I didn’t recognise any of Lifestyle’s artists and almost ignored the whole label. What a mistake that would have been because some of them, such as Revaux, Klinical and Objectiv to name a few, are now amongst my favourites.

Kings of the Rollers aka Bladerunner,Voltage b2b Serum (17.08.2018)

It’s bassline heaviness from start to finish. A lot of their other mixes and shows are more full-on jump-up style. Really like this one though, more of a vibey jungly flow to their mixing, which is always top quality imo.

(This was a friday night guest mix on Kiss FM (London) ).

Ill Truth – Stressed Out / Real Talk (2019 single)

Of the 2 tracks, real talk has a nicer flow for me. Anything by these guys usually jumps the listening queue. A lot of good dnb tracks/releases over the past few weeks too. For the moment, might aswell concentrate on the ones that match my wallet size lol Lots of good dj mixes and sets that’ll keep my ears busy too.

Might treat myself to 1 or 2 eps this wkend,  but next week I need to knuckle down n get busy with more urgent needs.

Scary trees.

Spent most of yesterday trying progs filters etc etc. Animation side of video editing is really interesting. Ok, the track I used in this vid ain’t so recent , Apostroph – Bounty Hunter (a vip remix ep was recently released too).

I do quite like the animated trees , (not by me), hypnotising and a l’il bit trippy..

Unleash the amen drummers.

Resigned from my last job last week. Taking a few weeks off before I start looking for another. Have to watch money carefully until then. Pretty sure there are some things I aint downloaded off bandcamp yet, but anyway, until that new job comes I’ll just spend my time on here mostly.

Short jungle mix, amens and breaks. Used VirtualDJ which is free for home/personal use. Track titles didn’t appear on the video this time, not sure why.

Practically spend whole weekends listening to music on Bandcamp.

A slight addiction you might say. But I have never enjoyed listening to music as much as I do now. I do buy a lot but at a guess it’s probably about 20% or so of the stuff I actually like. I’ll usually buy the cheapest things first, that way I can buy more. Stuff I’m not sure about (maybe another listen) go into the wishlist.

For the past few years I’ve been on bandcamp it hasn’t changed much. The core features are very good but so much scope for improvement. Playlists? User defined sections, maybe simple tabs? Had to create a second account to try and keep the dnb stuff seperate.

Haven’t spent a lot of time on this site so far but thinking about what I can do to improve it.
